ECB Professional Cricketer Internship Programme
ECB Professional Cricketer Internship Programme
Professional Cricketer Internship Programme – ECB PCA
(for current Professional cricketers only)
This year, the ECB and PCA are piloting an opportunity for four current professional cricketers to spend four weeks in the offseason with the ECB.
The purpose of this scheme is to support professional cricketers in their professional off-pitch development and provide them with a taste of what a career in cricket administration involves. For many, it could provide the first exposure to a corporate job, helping to build an understanding of career options available to them after being a professional cricketer.
What are the opportunities?
The ECB and PCA are keen to work with successful applicants to shape their experience in a way that maximises what they can take from this opportunity. Based on interest areas, interns will move around various ECB departments and learn about professional cricket operations, work within the recreational game, financial aspects of the cricket ecosystem and how the ECB includes and engages communities across the game.
