PCA Mentoring Programme
The PCA Mentoring Programme is a 12-month pilot programme aligned to the Association’s strategic pillar; to ‘build and maintain a team that is equipped with the right skills and promote a culture of inclusion and belonging by being an industry leader with our EDI strategy’.
The purpose of the programme is to support the PCA’s succession plan through facilitating knowledge transfer and career development by matching experienced individuals (mentors) with less experienced individuals (mentees) to share expertise, guidance and support, enabling the mentee to grow their skills, navigate career challenges and achieve professional goals.
The programme is open to PCA staff and current professional players.

“The PCA mentoring programme is a great way to expand your network of contacts whilst still playing professionally. Being paired with a mentor who can share their experiences and provide expert guidance is a unique opportunity offered by the PCA and will no doubt be beneficial for both players and PCA staff alike.”

“I’m incredibly excited to be involved in the mentoring programme with the PCA. Members will get valuable guidance and support from experienced peers, helping them navigate both their professional and personal development. By creating connections across different stages of a player’s career, the programme can build confidence, encourage informed decision-making, and promote long-term wellbeing both during and after their playing career.”
