The Professional Cricketers’ Trust and the PCA run a number of events throughout the year which help to raise valuable funds for current and ex-players who need it most. Find out how you can contribute, whether it’s by way of attending one of our events or by hosting your own.
BIKE RIDE
London To Paris Bike Ride
The challenge begins on 10 October 2023, coinciding with World Mental Health Day. Providing the perfect opportunity to bring mental health to the forefront of people’s minds, the players’ charity will use the awareness day to highlight the need to raise funds to combat the growing trend of welfare and wellbeing issues through a bucket list charity challenge.
The headline event for the charity in 2023 is aiming to raise £50,000, a substantial figure given the Trust operates with no funding partner at present. If achieved, the successful riders will secure enough donations to provide life-changing and in some cases life-saving mental health support for over 50 individuals.
SUPPORT THE TRUST
Professional Cricketers’ Trust Golf Day
Spend the day playing 18-holes at the famous Woburn Golf Club with sporting greats at the Professional Cricketers’ Trust Golf Day. All proceeds go directly into the PCA’s charity which helps former and current cricketers and their immediate families when they need it most.
The Professional Cricketers’ Trust provides vital funding for operations, helping those who are having difficulty adjusting to life after cricket find an alternative career and helping current players with professional support and expert advice.
The day includes breakfast on arrival, golf gift bag, on course refreshments, evening drinks reception, three-course Dinner with unlimited wine and post dinner drinks.
