Walker Wins Frizzell Award For April – 06/05/2004 Kent batsman Matthew Walker has won the Frizzell PCA Performance of the month award for April. Outstanding Walker receives the accolade for an outstanding performance in the Frizzell County Championship. The outstanding performances of the month are nominated by a panel including England Chairman of Selectors David Graveney. Eleventh Century The Kent batsman complied a superb 151 not out to steer Kent to a record victory target of 429 runs. Walker faced 261 deliveries, striking 20 boundaries. It was the left-handers eleventh first-class century and he helped Kent gain nineteen valuable Frizzell Championship points in the process. Frizzell Cheque Walker receives a cheque for £ 750 from Frizzell.
