Tom Graveney Memorial Service A Memorial service for Tom Graveney, the former England, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire batsman, will be held at Worcester Cathedral on Friday April 29 (2.30pm). Parking will be available from early at Worcestershire CCC’s New Road ground from early. Tom Graveney died in November aged 88, just nine days after his elder brother Ken, a former Gloucestershire captain, passed away. Graveney, who was born in Northumberland but raised in Bristol, became one of England’s most elegant and stylish batsmen. He scored 11 centuries in 79 Tests, captained his country against Australia at Headingley in 1968 and served as President of the MCC and Worcestershire. {{ak_sharing}}
