Johnny Grave leaves PCA post as Commercial Director Johnny Grave is to leave his post as Commercial Director of the Professional Cricketers’ Association to become the new Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board. Grave joined the PCA from Surrey County Cricket Club where he held several senior management roles. During his nine years as PCA Commercial Director, Grave has significantly grown all the commercial revenue streams, helped to raise substantial amounts for the PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust and forged excellent relationships between the players, England and Wales Cricket Board and a wide range of commercial organisations. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the PCA and feel privileged to have worked for such a fantastic organisation,” Grave said. “I am delighted to have been given the honour of becoming the new CEO of the WICB. I am genuinely excited by the opportunity of improving cricket at all levels within the region and am looking forward to working with the many stakeholders who are committed to the long-term development of West Indies Cricket”. He will start work at the WICB next month and will be based in Antigua. “Since Johnny joined the PCA nine years ago our commercial revenue has grown significantly across all areas and has helped greatly to support the diverse areas of work the PCA covers,” said PCA Chief Executive David Leatherdale. “Everybody at the PCA wishes Johnny the very best, in what will be both an exciting and challenging role, as the new CEO of the West Indies Cricket Board.” The PCA has exclusively appointed specialist search firm SRi to manage this recruitment process.
