Ian Harvey Wins June Award – 03/06/2003 Ian Harvey has won the Hill House Hammond PCA Monthly Performance Award for the month of June. Ian has had a remarkable run in the new Twenty20 cup. Playing for Gloucestershire, not only did he win three consecutive man-of-the-match awards but he also scored the competition’s first century. Chasing Warwickshire’s total of 134 at Edgbaston, Ian completed his ton off only 50 balls including 13 fours and 4 sixes to ensure Gloucestershire’s victory with almost seven overs to spare. Each monthly award winner receives a Waterford Crystal Trophy and a bottle of Grants Whiskey. Previous award winners were Mal Loye and Adam Hollioake for April and May respectively. Hill House Hammond is the sponsor of the PCA Monthly Performance Awards for 2003.
