Ian Harvey Wins June Award – 03/06/2003 Ian Harvey has won the Hill House Hammond PCA Monthly Performance Award for the month of June. Ian has had a remarkable run in the new Twenty20 cup. Playing for Gloucestershire, not only did he win three consecutive man-of-the-match awards but he also scored the competition’s first century. Chasing Warwickshire’s total of 134 at Edgbaston, Ian completed his ton off only 50 balls including 13 fours and 4 sixes to ensure Gloucestershire’s victory with almost seven overs to spare. Each monthly award winner receives a Waterford Crystal Trophy and a bottle of Grants Whiskey. Previous award winners were Mal Loye and Adam Hollioake for April and May respectively.
