With sites set to launch imminently in key UK cities, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead this innovative sports and wellbeing business from launch through to national scale.

About the Role

As CEO, you’ll be responsible for launching and scaling a multi-site sports business that brings accessible, high-energy padel and street cricket facilities to communities across the UK. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced leaders while setting the strategic direction, driving commercial success, and building a standout brand and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch Execution: Oversee the rollout of multiple community-focused padel & street cricket centres across major UK cities.
• Team Building: Recruit and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team including General Managers, Head Coaches, and operational staff.
• Operational Leadership: Design and implement scalable systems for finance, HR, compliance, and performance monitoring.
• Strategic Oversight: Ensure daily operations align with long-term strategic goals and brand values.
• Innovation & Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of trends in padel and urban cricket; develop offerings that stand out in the market.
• Sales & Growth: Drive commercial performance, customer acquisition, and repeat participation.
• Community Engagement: Champion partnerships with local schools and community groups; develop inclusive participation programmes.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A passion for cricket and sport, ideally with a professional or semi-professional background.
• Proven experience launching or leading businesses.
• Inspirational leader—hands-on, proactive, and capable of building a high-performance culture from the ground up.
• Sales and customer-focused—able to deliver strong footfall and member retention.
• Experience with branding and culture creation, bringing fresh thinking to how sport is delivered and experienced.
• Understanding of health & safety, HR compliance, and customer wellbeing.
• Familiar with CRM systems, as well as designing corporate events and school outreach programmes.
