Tim Munton Takes New Professional Cricketers’ Association Role – 02/07/2004 The Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) has today announced a change of role for Tim Munton. Tim, who has been a director with responsibility for key commercial aspects of the PCA for the past two years, will remain a board director in a part-time capacity, focusing on key cricket projects with effect from 1st October 2004. The PCA has created this role to develop further the PCA’s policies and to reinforce the body’s status as a key stakeholder in the game. Tim will work closely with the PCA Chief Executive & Chairman, PCA player representatives, the PCA Cricket Advisory Group. Richard Bevan, PCA group chief executive, said: ” Tim has made an enormous contribution to the PCA and really brought on our commercial interests. His new role is an important one, and with his extensive knowledge of the game and ambassadorial skills, Tim will further our thinking on key policy issues and assist us in ensuring high quality player representation.” Tim Munton said: ” I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge with the PCA. It’s a part-time role and I’ll also be pursuing a number of other interests both within and outside the game.
