THE PCA BENEVOLENT 2015 FUND-RAISING MATCHES

The PCA Benevolent 2015 fund-raising matches The PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust will benefit from two fund-raising matches which will be staged at Stamford School in Lincolnshire in July. A Matt Hampson XI will play a Help for Heroes XI at Stamford on July 23 with the PCA England Masters facing a Local Legends XI the following day. Both matches have been organised by Dean Headley, the former England, Middlesex and Kent seamer who is now cricket professional at the school as well as being a PCA Ambassador. Proceeds from the matches will go to the PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust, which is supported by Royal London, the Matt Hampson Foundation, Help for Heroes and the Seb Goold Trust. Match tickets Match tickets, which can be purchased online from May 1 at www.sportbash.co.uk, include access to a range of activities including a climbing wall, a golf challenge inflatable, a 45 metre inflatable assault course, gladiator battle, giant slide, football shoot out and bouncy castle. There will be a Battle of Britain Memorial flypast on both days as well as live band and food and refreshment stalls. Hospitality packages Hospitality packages are available for £ 750 for a table of ten or a table of nine plus a player. Each package includes ground entry plus live music, a glass of prosecco on arrival, a four course lunch, a question and answer session with the players, a post-match hog roast and three car park passes.
