THE KING OF SPAIN’S KILI-MADNESS! Former Warwickshire and England spinner, Ashley Giles, is a world record breaker after playing in the highest game of cricket ever on the summit of Africa. ‘The King of Spain’ took on the challenge to raise crucial funds for the PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust. In late September, he completed a world record and played the highest game of cricket in history. Some find it tough to even get from the changing room to the crease, but Ashley had to scale 5,785 metres of Kilimanjaro before he could strap the pads on! This is an incredible challenge that Ashley bravely took on, as he risked altitude sickness and blisters, all to raise money for the PCA Professional Cricketers’ Trust. You can still donate to Gilo via his Just Giving page or by text donation. All you have to do is text GILO59 followed by either £ 2, £ 5 or £ 10 to 70070. {{ak_sharing}}
