Sebastian Coe Set To Create The Winning Formula At PCA Summit – 28/03/2007 The Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA), the representative body for past, present and future first class cricketers in England and Wales, has today announced details of its 2007 business summit. Titled ” Creating the Winning Formula” and hosted by John Inverdale, speakers include Sebastian Coe KBE, the BBC’s director of sport Roger Mosey, Accenture’s head of European strategy Mark Spelman and England’s Paul Collingwood. The PCA business summit – which aims to help business and cricket work together better – is taking place at the Brit Oval, London, SE11 from 12:30hrs on 3rd May 2007. In addition to the presentations, at the champagne reception from 17:30hrs, delegates will have the opportunity to chat more informally with the speakers and other delegates. Richard Bevan, PCA group chief executive, said: ” The event has grown in stature and last year attracted 300 leading company executives. With the help of some fascinating speakers, this year’s summit will be our biggest ever. ” The audience will be keen to hear about how it can engage with sport more effectively and how they can maximise the enormous opportunities presented by the many major sporting events being staged over the next few years.” Tickets for the event are priced at £ 250 and are available from the PCA’s Liz Wood on 020 7544 8660 or lwood@thepca.co.uk.
