PCA Masters Name Twenty20 Team To Take On West Indies – 05/06/2007 The biggest match of the PCA Masters Series takes place against the West Indies at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground on 26th June 2007. The Masters team, playing at the kind invitation of the Duke of Norfolk, is captained by former England Test batsman, Nick Knight. The team – a formidable mix of youth and experience – is set to give the tourists a real work out ahead of their back-to-back NatWest International Twenty20 matches against England later that week. The line up is: Nick Knight (captain), Warwickshire & England James Benning, Surrey & England U19 Nathan Astle, New Zealand Robin Smith, Hampshire & England Rikki Clarke, Surrey & England James Foster (wicket keeper), Essex & England James Middlebrook, Essex Chris Lewis, Leicestershire & England Martin Bicknell, Surrey & England Nayan Doshi, Surrey Dean Headley, Kent & England Steve Marsh, events director for the PCA, said: ” With nearly 20 matches scheduled for the summer and the appointment of Nick Knight as the side’s permanent captain, the PCA Masters Series is going from strength-to-strength. ” The PCA Masters has become a side to be reckoned with and the lads really rate their chances against this West Indies side.
