Chris Adams Wins Player Of Month For August – 04/09/2003 Chris Adams has won the Hill House Hammond PCA Monthly Performance Award for August. Remarkable Form Chris shone for his county Sussex, in each innings of the crucial Frizzell County Championship match against Lancashire at Hove. Sussex won the tie by 252 runs and Chris scored 140 runs in the first innings and 190 in the second. Details of his centuries are as follows: First innings hundred came up in 194 minutes off 150 balls, with eleven 4’s and four 6’s. Second innings hundred came up in 183 minutes, off 211 balls, with fourteen 4’s. Trophy Chris receives a Waterford Crystal Trophy and a bottle of Grants Whiskey. Previous award winners were Mal Loye, Adam Hollioake and Ian Harvey for April, May and June respectively. Hill House Hammond is the sponsor of the PCA Monthly Performance Awards for 2003.
