England skipper amassed the most MVP points of the winter 2025/26 period.

England white-ball captain Harry Brook has won the PCA’s Overall Men’s International Winter MVP award, after finishing top of the table, powered by OFX.

The 27-year-old batter amassed a phenomenal 351.67 MVP points from his 25 matches over the period, finishing ahead of all-rounders Will Jacks, who came top of the T20I table, and Jacob Bethell. Brook earned 274.67 batting points, 120 more points than anyone else, and picked up an incredible 49 fielding points.

All-rounder Jacks impressed during his 17 matches across all formats, securing 241.05 MVP points on the Overall table, to finish second. He also earnt a place in the official ICC T20 World Cup Team of the Tournament.

Playing in every single England game during the winter across all three formats, Brook scored 358 Test runs against Australia, 359 runs in ODI cricket against New Zealand and Sri Lanka and 389 runs in T20Is, which included the ICC T20 World Cup. Overall, Brook accumulated 1,106 runs.

Brook won five Match MVP awards over the winter, with three in T20Is and two further accolades in ODI cricket.

The Yorkshireman’s first Match MVP of the winter came against New Zealand in a T20I, securing 41.66 points on the table. The England skipper smashed a quick-fire 78 from just 35 balls including six fours and five sixes, as Brook’s side racked up 236-4 and won by a comprehensive 65 runs.

A few days later, Brook followed that knock up with a blistering hundred, securing 29.94 points and the Match MVP award in the first ODI against New Zealand at Mount Maunganui. Coming in at 5-3, Brook delivered a memorable innings scoring 135 off just 101 deliveries with nine fours and 11 sixes.

Brook also finished top of the ODI winter rankings with 79.91 MVP points, largely thanks to an outstanding innings in January against Sri Lanka in Columbo where he scored an unbeaten 136 off just 66 balls, with 98 of those runs coming off his last 32 deliveries.

That innings, which included 11 fours and nine sixes, earnt him another Match MVP award, and powered his side to 357-6 as England won by 53 runs.

The highest total for a Match MVP during the winter was earned by Brook during the T20 World Cup Super 8s against Pakistan. Brook received a massive 53.77 points for a 51-ball century, hitting 10 fours and four sixes as England chased down Pakistan’s total of 164-9 to win by two wickets.

Surrey man, Jacks, finished top of the T20I winter table with 179.66 points, securing first place ahead of Brook and Bethell. The 27-year-old also finished second on the Overall bowling table with 110.53 MVP points, just behind Adil Rashid.

An incredible T20 World Cup from Jacks saw him score 226 runs at an average of 56.5 and a dominating strike-rate of 175.56, alongside taking nine wickets at 21.6.

Jacks produced three Match MVP award-winning performances alongside another game as England’s standout player, all coming in the shortest format. The off-spinning all-rounder’s highest points scoring game came against Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup at Pallekele, ensuring 31.57 MVP points for 21 off 14 in a low-scoring total of 146-9 and then brilliant figures of 3-22 off his four overs as England won by 51 runs.

Another impressive performance came against New Zealand five days later, with Jacks earning 27.38 MVP points and a Match MVP award for figures of 2-23 and an unbeaten 32 off 18 to secure a four-wicket victory.

Young all-rounder Bethell finished third on the Overall table with 216.27 MVP points from his 22 matches over the winter.

The 22-year-old picked up 48.16 MVP points and a Match MVP award against Australia in the fifth Test at Sydney as he scored his maiden Test century, a commanding 154 off 265 balls with 15 boundaries.

The left-hander then became the youngest English player to score a hundred in all three formats with a scintillating display against India in the T20 World Cup semi-final, scoring 105 off 48 balls with eight fours and seven sixes – the second fastest T20 World Cup hundred of all time earning Bethell 51.51 MVP points.

Durham’s Brydon Carse picked up the Test Winter MVP award with 106.23 points, as Joe Root and Brook finished just behind. The 30-year-old finished the Ashes series as England leading wicket-taker with 22 dismissals at an average of 30.31.

The PCA Overall Women’s International Winter MVP award was decided at the end of the Women’s World Cup in October with England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt prevailing on 101.07 MVP points.

The 33-year-old scored 262 runs during the Women’s World Cup at an average of 43.6, alongside taking nine wickets at 29.3 a-piece.

The all-rounder won two Match MVP awards with the most impressive coming against Sri Lanka where her run-a-ball 117 and figures of 2-25 earnt 40.39 points and helped her side to an 89-run victory.

Spinners Charlie Dean and Sophie Ecclestone finished second and third respectively.
