Arafat Bhuiyan joined Kent from the South Asian Cricket Academy (SACA) in 2023 and went on to make five First-Class appearances for the county. His best bowling figures of 4-65 came in his debut game against Surrey at the Oval. He played a handful of games for Northamptonshire’s second XI in 2024 and went on to take 8-93 in the penultimate game of the campaign against Leicestershire second XI at Peterborough.
