Academy Head Coach

An inaugural opportunity within the Caythorpe Cricket Centre of Excellence

Shape the Academy from day one

Caythorpe Cricket Club is seeking an outstanding, passionate and forward-thinking coach to establish and lead its new Academy. Part of the Centre of Excellence, the Academy will create a clear pathway for ambitious young cricketers, develop better coaches and strengthen the Club’s future.

The Role

• Lead coaching delivery and shape the Academy curriculum, culture and standards
• Create individual development plans and coordinate coaches and specialist support
• Build positive relationships with players, parents, coaches and the wider Club
• Help grow the Academy and Centre of Excellence from a focused initial intake

Player-coach opportunity

Applications are welcomed from coaches and player-coaches. Our preference is a player-coach able to lead the Academy while making a meaningful contribution to 1st XI cricket, on and off the field.

What we are looking for:

Essential

• ECB Core Coach (Level 2) or above
• Current DBS, safeguarding and first aid credentials
• Significant junior coaching experience; inspiring communication, sound organisation and a collaborative approach

Desirable

• ECB Advanced Coach (Level 3), pathway or academy experience, and the playing ability to strengthen the 1st XI
