Day 19 Update – The PCA Movember Team is Growing… – 19/11/10 The PCA’s Movember Team is growing! Thanks to your support, the PCA Team is currently in 16th place for the total amount of money pledged so far, out of over 100,000 teams. As you can see from our pictures, the moustaches are coming on well – and we’re raising a fantastic amount of both money and awareness for men’s health, specifically The Prostate Cancer Charity. This is a cause that we feel passionately about and I’m asking you to support our efforts by making a donation to this worthwhile cause. We have current members of the PCA who either have Prostate cancer, are in recovery or who have direct relatives who have suffered or passed away from the disease. Our motivation is to spread awareness of Prostate Cancer throughout the game of cricket in our country, from the professional game right through to the recreational ranks, involving as many players as possible, whilst raising invaluable monies to help fight the ‘hidden killer illness.’ We are looking for anyone to join our team or donate to the cause – from the professional game to the recreational ranks or our commercial friends/partners. The more people we get on board, the more lives we can impact. I am asking you to join the Team and either grow a moustache as a Mo Bro, or join as a Mo Sista to help us on our journey. To join the PCA Movember Team go to http://uk.movember.com/mospace/527646/ and follow the steps. Once registered, you’ll be sent all the information you need to raise funds and start growing as part of my Movember team. The other way members can show their support of Movember as a member is by joining your network. Once registered, join the Professional Cricketers’ Association network by visiting http://uk.movember.com/mospace/network/www.thepca.co.uk. You’ll be able to see which members have their own teams and how everyone is getting on with fundraising. To see the impact Movember citizens are already making, follow this link. We would really appreciate your support to raise more money than any other sport. Jason Ratcliffe Ian Smith Kevin Pietersen
