The Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) has announced Toyota as the new title partner of the PCA Awards in a multi-year deal from 2025.

The most prestigious awards ceremony in English cricket will be referred to as the ‘PCA Awards in partnership with Toyota’ in addition to the car manufacturer becoming a Principal Partner of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) earlier this year.

The PCA Awards brings the curtain down on the professional season as hundreds of current and former players join key stakeholders of the industry to champion the best-performing individuals of the summer while reflecting on those who have given so much to cricket.

Covering all of the professional game in England and Wales, players are honoured across international, domestic, men’s and women’s cricket, with the awards ceremony in 2025 taking place at Exhibition White City, London on Thursday 9 October.

Joined in attendance by the England Men’s ODI squad ahead of their departure for their tour of New Zealand the following day, Toyota will sponsor each of the main player voted awards: Men’s and Women’s Player of the Year, as well as Men’s and Women’s Young Player of the Year.

Last year, Liam Dawson and Kathryn Bryce were voted as the main award winners by their peers, as Jamie Smith and Ryana MacDonald-Gay picked up the accolades for young players.

The Association will also announce the PCA Outstanding Contribution Award alongside Umpire of the Year awards in the men’s and women’s game. The ECB Outstanding Service to Cricket Award will also be revealed, as will the Rado Recognition Award.

Building on the shared commitment to expand engagement across grassroots cricket, Toyota and the ECB intend to grow the number of recreational players.

Toyota has also shown its commitment to supporting local clubs with the launch of its ‘Good For Cricket’ prize draw. It aims to help clubs raise funds for vital equipment and resources, with over £130,000 raised this year alone since launching in May.

Toyota are sponsoring the England men’s and women’s teams with the Toyota name and logo prominently displayed across all professional kits. Toyota are also announced as the first ever Official Champion Partner of Disability Cricket building on its ‘Mobility For All’ vision.

The awards will once again feature an in-house band before a DJ set from the exciting ANNABEL STOP IT takes to the stage following a summer of performing across the world and cementing herself on the global dance scene.

PCA Commercial Director, Rob Smyth, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Toyota as the new title partner of the most prestigious awards in English cricket. The PCA Awards in partnership with Toyota provides the ultimate opportunity for the game to recognise the very best of the players in England and Wales and to do so alongside a committed partner will elevate what is always a night to remember.

“We have seen some exhilarating cricket both internationally and on the domestic scene in 2025 and the PCA Awards is always one of the most anticipated events in the calendar. We are already working closely with Toyota in a common goal of becoming the most inclusive team sport in England and Wales and we will strive to make sure this is recognised at the Awards throughout the coming years.”

Scott Thompson, President and Managing Director at Toyota commented: “At Toyota, our belief in the power of cricket to unite communities runs deep, with our Mobility for All vision focused on making cricket accessible to everyone. That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to become  the title partner of the prestigious PCA Awards.

“Through our work with the ECB, together, we are dedicated to growing the game. From investing in grassroots participation, including our ‘Good for Cricket’ initiative, alongside becoming the Official Champion of Disability Cricket, we aim to empower more people to experience the fun of cricket and connect through the sport.

“Partnering with the PCA allows us to not only support the future of the game but to also celebrate the current generation of incredible athletes. We look forward to working closely with the PCA to recognise the game’s heroes for years to come.”
