Voting for PCA Player of the Month for June begins as we reach the halfway point in the 2025 domestic season.

The top four men’s and women’s domestic players have been announced using the PCA’s Most Valuable Player Rankings, powered by OFX, with these accolades being the third awards up for grabs this season.

In the men’s game, Northamptonshire Steelbacks all-rounder David Willey topped the MVP standings in June with 155.69 points. Surrey, meanwhile, have two players vying for the award in the form of all-rounder Will Jacks and opener Dom Sibley with the latter scoring his maiden triple hundred in the Rothesay County Championship. Worcestershire batter Adam Hose is the final nominee for the award following a month where he scored at an average of more than 60.

Meanwhile, in the women’s game, batters dominated the MVP standings with three out of the four players getting nominated for their batting prowess. Surrey are currently leading the points table in the Vitality Blast having lost just once all season. Their outstanding form in the competition is highlighted in the Player of the Month nominations with both Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Grace Harris finding themselves in contention to win the award. They are joined by Lancashire’s Ailsa Lister with Hampshire’s PCA Representative Ella McCaughan completing a competitive four nominees.

The players are selected by the PCA’s Most Valuable Player Rankings, powered by OFX, which picks out the game’s top performers across every single fixture. This then forms the rankings for each competition, as well as an overall table which is how the top four are selected. The MVP takes into account batting, bowling and fielding contributions as well as match defining efforts using a unique algorithm developed by CricViz.

The PCA Player of the Month will be decided by a 50:50 split between the PCA MVP Rankings and the public vote – with the poll closing on 2 July at 10pm. With a short window to have your say, vote now to pick your winner of the June awards.
