PCA – Chief Executive

The PCA has been the representative body of past and present first class cricketers in England and Wales, since the organisation was founded it 1967, championing the best interest of all professional cricketers in England and Wales.

As the representative body of the professional players, the PCA Committee are the vital link between the association and the membership.

Role: The Chief Executive reports to the PCA group management board on all matters and the Non-Executive Chairman of the group board on all commercial and governance issues. On cricketing matters, the Chief Executive works closely with the elected Players Chairman. The Chief Executive is responsible for co-ordinating all communications and relations with the ECB and, in many cases, representing the PCA in dealings with the ECB executive. As a number of major stakeholder negotiations will shortly come to fruition, the development and strategic management of the PCA, ensuring it provides the best support for its members, will be key.
