School t20 tournament

The School T20 Tournament is an initiative developed this year by the PCA in association with bespoke sportswear provider, MCMXXV.

The School T20 Tournament aims to bring local schools together to celebrate cricket through a showpiece event involving international legends – the PCA England Masters. Each event will be hosted by one of the competing schools, and will see four sides battle it out in a series of T20 matches in a competitive and fun environment. Each side will be joined by two PCA England Masters players, one bowler and one batsman, aiming to steer their teams to victory!

As well as providing a whole host of legends to take part in the day, the PCA and MCMXXV will also supply each school with 15 sets of bespoke coloured clothing, which can be customised with the school badge and sponsors if required, so all players will certainly look the part.

Sure to be a memorable day for pupils, teachers, parents and guests alike, the School T20 Tournament gives your school's budding cricket talent the chance to play alongside legends of the sport, learn from their years of experience and perform in front of a large crowd at a showpiece event. It is also an excellent opportunity to showcase your school and sports department to parents, prospective parents and key supporters. The event can even be used as a fundraising opportunity should you wish, with the potential to raise money for future cricket tours, new equipment or local charities, through sponsorship, ground raffles and programme sales.

The tournament could even become an annual fixture in schools’ calendars, rotating the host school each year, with each team looking to get their name on the trophy.
