The Performance Lifestyle programme is a joint initiative run by the ECB and PCA. The programme has two primary aims:
- To improve the performance of cricketers through easing and minimising potential distractions during their playing career.
- To better prepare cricketers for life after cricket.
“…Performance Lifestyle is now supporting over 4,000 elite athletes and has made a huge difference to many of our Olympic and World Champions. Cricket has been forward thinking in employing a team of advisers to help prepare for performance and prepare for the future…"
Richard Parker, UK Sport National Coordinator of the PL programme.
Six Performance Lifestyle advisers are currently employed on a regional basis to service the programme and provide players with the support that they require.
