PCA Business & Sport Conference 2005 — 16/03/2005

The Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) has united the worlds of business and sport to create the most effective conference of the year. The event is to be held at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham on Wednesday April 6, commencing at 12pm.

The PCA Business & Sport Conference will provide the unique opportunity for companies to meet key representatives from major sports governing bodies; network with the UK business and sport sectors; and debate crucial issues with other leaders in commerce.

The event also marks the official launch of the 903 Club — the exclusive new PCA business network that unites commercial innovation and cricket.

There will be a number of key speakers on the day including Michael Finnigan (highly respected motivational speaker), Sir Matthew Pinsent (four times Olympic gold medal rower) and Kriss Akabusi MBE (former Great Britain 400m hurdler).

In addition to the key speakers, ‘a question of business and sport’ forum will take place. This interactive session will include David Ford (Chief Executive - Regus), Sir Matthew Pinsent, Nasser Hussain OBE (former England cricket captain), Gladstone Small (former England cricketer), Matthew Fleming (PCA Vice-President) and Richard Bevan (Group Chief Executive — PCA).

In the evening, William Hague (former leader of the opposition), will be the guest speaker at the inaugural PCA Conference Dinner.
