Two of cricket's leading motivational speakers joined with Nottingham law firm Berryman, a Commercial Partner of the PCA, to demonstrate how success on the pitch can effectively be transferred to success in the business world.
One day international specialist Nick Knight, and Steve Bull, who has been psychologist to the England Cricket Team since 1997 and has particular expertise in performance psychology for sport and business, mental toughness, leadership and coaching for performance, engaged the audience with their candid discussions on the thought processes needed to succeed at the very top level of sport.
"Our audience with these two top sports motivational speakers was extremely enlightening, and in particular Nick Knight's honesty and openness about his own decision-making process was captivating," said Claire Mottershead, Berryman's Business Development Director who organised the event.
"The event aimed to bring success from the dressing room to the board room," she adds, "and Nick and Steve discussed the thought processes needed to succeed at the very top level of sport, and how these techniques can transfer to the commercial environment."
