Robin Martin-Jenkins – Sussex |
|
In 1995, Robin Martin-Jenkins joined the professional staff at Sussex. He stayed loyal to the county when many of the players left in 1996 and ever since he has played a major part in Sussex’s emergence as a trophy winning county, particularly in the C&G win of 2006 and in the championship winning years of 2003, 2006 and 2007. As an all rounder, Robin is renowned for his talent with both bat and ball. His highest first class score is 205 not out, scored at Taunton in 2002, and his best bowling is 7 for 51, taken at Horsham in the same year. In total he has scored nearly 8000 runs and taken over 500 wickets for his home county. Robin is delighted to be supporting two charities during the year: Martlets Hospice and Kidscompany.
