David made his Glamorgan debut in 1991, was a member of Glamorgan's team which won the Sunday League in 1993, and toured with England A to India and Bangladesh in 1994-95. In 1997, he joined Warwickshire and had five seasons as a capped player with them before returning to Glamorgan for the 2002 season. He has remained a consistent run-scorer and was made captain in 2007. David currently has amassed more than 20,000 runs in first class and A list cricket and has 27 first class hundreds and 5 One Day centuries to his name. An excellent fielder with a safe pair of hands, he has pouched 270 catches to date in his professional career. David is proud to be supporting Noah’s Ark Appeal during his benefit year.
