Ask.com sign new sponsorship with England Cricket

The ECB have recently announced a new sponsorship package, with search engine Ask.com becoming the first ‘dot.com’ brand to sign up as an official partner of the England Cricket Team.

As the popularity of the game has soared after last summer’s successes, new partner Ask.com aims to reach the new spectators through a variety of mediums, such as online pre-and post-game analysis and access to exclusive content.

The launch event, held earlier this month in Sheffield, was attended by Michael Vaughan - one of Ask.com’s player appearances from the ECB partnership - who echoed the positive effect that the Ashes victory is having both on and off the pitch.

This is a new era for sponsorship within Team England and the ECB, allowing the new generation of spectators and sponsors to gain from the game.
