Past Players’ Day

The annual Past Players’ Day is being held on 5th August 2010 at Headingley. It is also the third day of the Yorkshire v Notts LV=CC match and we have a cracking day planned where we hope to see many faces from the past.

This is the first trip into the north and therefore, I’m sure, the first opportunity to see old acquaintances from this region. Yorkshire has a very strong past player association and we expect a good turnout.

Places are limited to 100 people, so please book early to avoid disappointment. The day will include free admission to Headingley, a 2-course lunch, afternoon tea, a full day of first class cricket and the chance to learn a little more about the PCA and its Benevolent Fund.

Contact Jason on 07768 558050 to book your place.

Inter County Golf Day

Each year, the current first class counties lock horns in an inter county golf competition. Every county is represented and we have, for the first time, created an opportunity for 38 past playing members to join the day and enjoy the fantastic Forest of Arden course on 30th September.

The day will begin with bacon rolls at 10am, followed by a shotgun start at midday. There’ll be a separate smaller competition for past players and this opportunity will again be on a first come first served basis.

Many thanks go to Andy Mitchell and Owzat-Cricket.co.uk, who has kindly sponsored the day. To book your place, please contact Jason as soon as possible on 07768 558050.
