The latest decision from the Bank of England to keep interest rates on hold at 0.5% looks like a sign of things to come, but you do not need a crystal ball to see that there is only one way for rates to move in the future. Of course, the timing of any upward movement is difficult to predict but we believe that when rates do move there is a risk that they could rise more sharply than a swift one from Freddie.

This advice is not sweeping, for some it will not be the right thing to do. You should always take individual advice from an independent source when dealing with what will probably be the largest financial commitment you ever make.
