sk:n – Promoting the importance of protection against the sun this summer

sk:n is the UK’s No.1 skin clinic, established in 1990. Our reputation for clinical excellence is founded on the experience and expertise of our team of leading doctors, nurses and skincare professionals. 10% of all UK dermatologists choose to work with sk:n across our nationwide network of 31 clinics.

We are the leading voice on everything skin-related and are strong believers in upholding our clinical ethics.

Our treatments include:

  • Laser Hair Removal
  • Tattoo Removal
  • Skin Rejuvenation Treatments

Skin cancer affects more than 100,000 people in the UK every year. There are 2,500 deaths from skin cancer every year, in people aged 16 and above. The majority of skin cancers are completely curable if detected and treated early. If you notice a change in size, colour or shape in any mole or mark on your skin – seek medical advice. Adequate sun protection all year round reduces the risk of cancer.

The PCA and sk:n take the matter of skincare and the dangers of long-term sun exposure very seriously. We are working closely together to raise awareness of the dangers, screening players, coaches, physiotherapists and umpires to ensure that any signs are detected and treated early. We have conducted a tour of all the English County Cricket grounds prior to the start of the season.

The Cumberland Hotel

To create great art, you need to see things differently. Which is precisely the inspiration behind The Cumberland, and its unique point of view.

As part of the Guoman collection, The Cumberland is filled with original pieces that make it a work of art in itself. But with its luxurious bedrooms, destination restaurants and bars, superbly appointed meeting rooms and discreet yet efficient service, it also redefines old notions of what a world-class hotel should be.

To experience the difference for yourself, call 0871 376 9014 or visit www.guoman.com/the-cumberland.
