PCA 903 Club Events

This year, the PCA welcomed the start of the Season with our annual Season Launch in the Long Room at Lord’s, on Wednesday 4 April 2012. The PCA, partners and 903 Club members, sipped on Louis Roederer’s finest champagne, accompanied by an assortment of Lord’s infamous fare.  

On the night, guests were joined by a number of PCA Ambassadors, including Mike Gatting, Mark Ramprakash and Colin Croft, with Pat Murphy hosting a Q&A. Also in attendance were a number of Essex players, including Graham Napier who is supporting the PCA Benevolent fund for his Benefit year in 2012.

NatWest Locals vs. Legends

On Monday 23 April 2012, NatWest launched their Locals vs. Legends T20 Series at Shenley Cricket Club, Hertfordshire. Michael Vaughan was joined by an all-star PCA Master’s XI who were raring to take on their opposition, a Media XI. Unfortunately, rain prevailed and they were forced to team up for the PCA Quiz. Despite the poor weather, a good time was had by PCA Ambassadors and guests alike, with spirits raised by Shenley’s scrumptious afternoon tea, a hog roast BBQ and unlimited beers, wines and soft drinks.

NatWest’s Locals vs. Legends, gives local cricket clubs across England and Wales the chance to go head-to-head against former England Captain, Michael Vaughan, and his team of cricket legends. This initiative is open to all cricket clubs in England and Wales who are registered to participate in NatWest CricketForce Fundraiser 2012.

The competition voting period opened on Monday 23 April 2012 and closes 9am on Tuesday 26 June 2012. Votes can be registered at www.natwest.com/cricket.
