Any Old Bats?Ex-Leicestershire cricketer David Munden has set up a new business which involves recycling old, split and broken cricket bats. He will be making small furnishings including coffee tables, hat stands, house nameplates, etc. The idea is that each item will have a cricket theme visible, for instance, a coat stand with a ball hitting the stumps and the bails flying off the stumps. Old bats are needed in any age or condition to be planed or machined into a new life. David is happy to collect old bats or pay for postage and packing.
