Lord’s Taverners Cricket 2008The Lord’s Taverners’ aim is to spread fun while raising money to help give young people, particularly those with special needs, a sporting chance. Overall, playing cricket enabled the coffers to swell by over £300,000 last year. And we hope to do even better this year. We have a full season in front of us and are always looking to have first class players turn out for us in matches when their own counties do not have games. So if you are invited, we do hope that you will come along. You are sure to have a really good day in good company, and you will be helping cricket’s charity raise money for a most worthwhile cause. The Lord’s Taverners wish all players a successful and enjoyable season, and hope to see many of you in the course of our travels.
