What was your highlight of last season? Beating Lancashire at full strength - including Andrew Flintoff, in the County Championship.
Tell me one thing you have learnt this year? Captaincy is not always fun!
If you could change one element of county cricket, what would it be? Less travelling I think.
Where was the best pitch you played on last year? Lord’s definitely.
And the best practice facilities? Lord’s again.
What was the biggest crowd you played in front of this year? It must have been during a Twenty20 Cup fixture at the Oval. There was around 23,000 people there…top atmosphere.
Funniest moment of the season? Matt Walker being run out on 198 – with cramp!
What are you doing this winter? I’m off to the Academy in Perth first and then looking after my new baby.
What’s the best thing about the PCA? The do’s.
If you weren’t a cricketer, what would you be? A poker player.
Biggest perk of being a pro cricketer? Playing this game for a living!
And what was your biggest rock n’ roll moment of the summer? Its got to be Matt Walker being run out for 198!
What advice would you give to a young pro starting his career? Enjoy it and play the game the way you want to play it.
