PCA ‘Creates The Winning Formula’

The third PCA Annual Business Summit was held yesterday at the Brit Oval Conference Centre, London. With the PCA celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year, the fitting theme ‘Creating The Winning Formula’ explored the natural affinity between sport and business, demonstrating how both can work together to the mutual benefit of all parties.

Master of ceremonies John Inverdale introduced PCA Group Chief Executive Richard Bevan, who gave a warm welcome to delegates attending the Summit.

Headline speakers Roger Mosey (Director – BBC Sport), Mark Spelman (Head of European Strategy – Accenture) and Sebastian Coe KBE (Chairman – London 2012) provided unique insight on the synergies and opportunities between sport and business.

The Hon Lord Morris of Handsworth OJ, and Paul Collingwood MBE (Durham and England cricketer) then joined Lord Coe on the stage, to discuss ‘Creating The Winning Formula’.

The 250 delegates who were in attendance, including PCA Commercial Partners and key stakeholders from the game of cricket, finished the day off in style with a glass of bubbly, at a successful networking drinks reception.

The PCA would like to extend sincere thanks to Summit sponsors Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Vodafone, Lees Lloyd Whitley and Volkswagen for their generous and unwavering support and encouragement.
