North London Cricket Club is going to appoint a senior head coach to lead all aspects of coaching and training.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience, which means at least Level 2 coaching qualification, DBS check, first aid training and up-to-date safeguarding certification.

He or she will have demonstrable experience in player development, a minimum of two years’experience of coaching, ideally some of that managing and motivating a team of coaches, and be anexcellent communicator with both junior and senior cricketers.

This represents a great opportunity for an enthusiastic coach to join a highly ambitious club with a playing membership of more than 75 adults and 220 juniors. NLCC’s aim is to develop players from a young age and to see them drive our senior teams to the highest division of the Middlesex County Cricket League.

The role will involve leading all aspects of Winter and Summer training which will be implemented by a team of coaches which you will lead. You may be required to undertake one-to-one technical coaching sessions for players at all ages. You will report to the Chair Of Selectors and will work closely with senior team captains and junior team managers.

The hours and remuneration are flexible depending upon the availability and experience of the successful candidate.
