PCA Awards Dinner 2007
Monday 24th Sept
The Royal Albert Hall
The awe-inspiring surroundings of the Royal Albert Hall once again played host to the NatWest PCA Awards on Monday 24th September. The glittering event was attended by over 1500 current and past players, sponsors, PCA commercial partners and friends of the game who all helped raise much needed funds for the PCA Benevolent Fund. The main award of the night, the NatWest PCA Player of the Year, was won by Durham's Ottis Gibson, while Yorkshire's Adil Rashid took home the NatWest PCA Young Player of the Year award. The evening was possible due to the fantastic support from the night's sponsors who included NatWest, ECB, Accenture, Brit Insurance, Sky Sports, Hewitt, MCC and 3g Comms. The PCA took the opportunity to look back on the last four decades of its history as it celebrated its 40th anniversary and to reflect on how far it has come in that time. It was a truly amazing evening to celebrate the achievements of a season and the achievements of a growing and successful organisation.
