CRICKETER IN BUSINESS

Damian Brandy

Ex- Leicestershire allrounder Damian Brandy is now editing a new magazine in Dubai called Middle East Cricket.

Zaheer Abbas is a regular columnist for the magazine which also includes contributions from Michael Haddin, fitness and conditioning coach for the Hyderabad Heros in the ICL, director of Haddin's fitness and brother of Australian keeper Brad, and Ian Pont who is now into the third of a four-part series on fast bowling.

Middle East Cricket is the fastest growing men's consumer magazine here, in a region spending huge sums of money on sport and cricket in particular with the ICC based here, the new 20,000 seater cricket stadium along with its ground breaking practice facilities due to be ready in March 2009 and the Global Cricket Academy under the direction of Rod Marsh operational from 2009, the UAE is a great place for brand exposure for anything relation to sport.

Any players interested in contributing and having some work published, as a way of gaining experience or building a portfolio, should get in touch with Damian on damian.brandy@itp.com
