Notts ‘Mo' Mad For Charity
The players of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, have decided to raise monies for Cancer Research UK by growing sponsored moustaches throughout the month of August. The idea comes from the New Zealand month of 'Mo-vember', where the male population adorn ' Mo's for charity!
Fast bowler Charlie Shreck commented:
‘As you can see we are completely prepared to embarrass ourselves both on the field and in our televised matches throughout the month of 'Mo-ugust' as we feel it is only right to suffer some humiliation for such a good cause. Several marriages and relationships are set to be put to the test, but again it is only for a month and we feel it is a worthwhile (or a good excuse...!) With your help we can raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research, which is the chosen charity of Paul Franks, this years beneficiary of the Club.'
Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. Just click on the link below and show your support for the Notts boys and raise money for Cancer Research along the way!
