Warwickshire all-rounder Dougie Brown reveals some property investment opportunities in Spain.

The past few years have been poor on the investment and pension front, so when Ocean View Properties approached me with their product, fully managed off plan investment properties in Spain, I was immediately interested. The Costa del Sol is the biggest property ‘boom’ area in the world at the moment and is expected to be for at least the next 5 years.

Business Partnership

Releasing equity in my UK property, I purchased an apartment on the Los Flamingos Golf Estate in Puerto Banus and have since gone into business with Keith Medlycott, the former Surrey coach, who has also purchased on the same golf estate. We plan to add to this currently small property portfolio in due course by releasing equity from both properties once they are completed.

Investments

We have both invested an initial sum of around £100K, equity release from our properties, and should see a total profit of around £250K from both properties in around 18 months.

Paul Nixon from Leicestershire CCC is also involved with Ocean View Properties, with his initial purchase allowing him to do exactly the same thing.
